Newsletter Sign-Ups in the Embedded Storefront

Feature Request

Being able to capture newsletter sign-ups anonymously on websites, without having to force actual user sign-ups or purchases would be great to offer. This way, merchants don’t need to add bad forms from their newsletter/marketing platform to websites, as they can just use the embedded storefront that is already there to also power these opt-ins.

    This is now live! When using the embedded storefront, call Moonbase.subscribe(), or when using the hosted storefront, visit https://<your-account>.moonbase.sh/subscribe.

    Any users signing up will get a customer profile in your Moonbase account, but will not have a user account; they can create that later.

    As usual, these customers will be synced to your newsletter platform, with changes to their subscription status going both ways.

    A bunch of behind-the-scenes upgrades have been made to make this possible, so we’re getting closer and closer to a marketing suite that works for selling plugins!
